So now Severed Limbs are Washing up on Beaches in Rio

As if there wasn’t enough crazy stuff going on in Rio already, there are now mutilated body parts washing ashore on the beaches. I guess Dexter’s bags of victims opened up and the current took them to shore.  The news website Reuters goes into more detail about what happened:

Parts of a mutilated body washed up on the sands of Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday, police said, just meters (yards) from where beach volleyball athletes will compete in the upcoming Olympics.

It was unclear Wednesday afternoon what conditions may have led to the mutilated body but a policeman standing guard by a security perimeter confirmed its existence to Reuters.

Jesus Christ. I guess that highway shootings and economic unrest just isn’t enough for Rio huh? Nah, now we’ve got body parts coming to shore just weeks away from the events. It’s cool though, this place is going to be really safe for the games. Nothing could go wrong!

Remember when we thought that Moscow was awful during the winter Olympics because the hotel weren’t ready when everyone came? Haha good times.

I’m curious as to what the athletes think about all of this right now, especially the volleyball players. I’d be completely turned off from the games if I learned that there are freaking human body parts just coming in with the tide. Imagine you’re getting ready to play and decide to go down to the beach real quick. Go into the water for a dip and a severed arm brushes against your leg. I would be on the next flight back to America. My country can shame me and people can boo me, but I ain’t playing when limbs are coming from the sea like turtles coming to lay some eggs.

Hopefully Rio can get their affairs in order for the games because right now it looks like the wild west. They gotta crack down for those couple weeks and then they can have all the severed arms on the beach as they want.
