If Messi Actually Went to Jail, Would FIFA Include a Prison League?

Earlier today, Lionel Messi, one of the greatest soccer players of all time, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for tax fraud. His father, Jorge, was also given a jail sentence for defrauding Spain of $4.5 million in just a couple of years. In Spain, if your jail sentence is under 2 years you can serve it under probation.

Now I pose the question to you…

If Messi were to actually go to prison, would they include a “Prison League” in FIFA?

They’d have to right? Messi is literally the face of FIFA games.

It would attract so many people, and you couldn’t possibly take Messi out of a game. He was the cover for the past 4 years.

You could argue that FIFA wouldn’t put him in the game because that would be like promoting fraud, but FIFA is corrupt as is and it would actually be extremely fitting.

All I’m saying is, it would be a great idea… Great for marketing combining FIFA and a little FIFA “Street.”

This will be the court. And here’s his squad.

Come on EA, make it happen…

(And come on Messi… Go to prison. Up your street cred.)
