Packers Fans Start Petition to Ban Troy Aikman and Joe Buck from Calling their Games

Hearing Joe Buck and Troy Aikman commentate on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers is part of becoming a fan of the team. I don’t get to hear much of what Packer fans think of the two because I’m not from Green Bay nor have I ever lived there, but it’s incredible to think that we’re all on the same page here. There is a lot of brewing hatred for the potential bias shown during games against the Packers, as well as many other teams, but it impacted a fan so much that he started a petition to ban them from calling any more Packers games.

The petition currently has over 18,000 supporters in just 3 days. You can sign here.

First, as much as people despise Buck, due to the fact that he is self aware and knows people hate him and just takes it is something everyone should respect.

I know this is scripted, but these are things we have all said. He knows it and he embraces it. He takes the high road and says that we’re the losers on Sunday sitting on the couch watching HIM on TV. It’s amazing. And now as much as I am not a huge fan of his commentating, I do respect what he does and how he deals with the haters.

As for Aikman, well I’m all aboard the hate train here, and he would be the only reason why I sign that petition. When Aaron Rodgers tweaks his leg he’s sure to tell you about it after every single play. He’s not afraid dig into a team and say what he really feels. The negativity with him is very apparent and it rubs off between the two of them during certain games. When you take into consideration that a lot of people are in agreement on this it shows that this is more common than one would think…

To make things worse for select Packers fans, Green Bay faces off against the Dallas Cowboys (Aikman’s former team) this Sunday… On FOX.

I’m sure there are a large group of people who like or don’t mind Buck and Aikman, but the fact that almost 20,000 fans agree on this issue is something worth noting, even though the petition will do nothing.
